Founded in memory of the temple of Nankana Sahib, birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (NSET) was established in 1953 in Ludhiana, Punjab. It is one of the oldest engineering colleges situated in the northern region of India. The college is an ISO 9001-2000 certified company; NBA accredited, and has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IOWAC University (USA) for exchange of students and faculty. Admission is on merit through Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.
