Established on 7th July, 1948, Mount Carmel College (MCC) is a women's liberal arts college situated in Vasanth Nagar, Bangalore. The college is run by the Congregation of the Carmelite Sisters of Sr. Teresa of St. Rose of Lima and is affiliated to Bangalore University. The institute is also a member of the NCC and the NSS services and has a committed group of volunteers who work with school children in the rural areas.
